Movie Review - The Watchmen

Pros

- Has enough action to be interesting, but not to make it focused on that.
- The scenes are slightly pessimistic, but not so far as to stray from reality.
- The end is a surprise to anyone who didn't read the comics, etc.
- It's complex, without being a mess.

Cons

- The only real issue I had with this film was the too long sex scenes which didn't advance the plot in the slightest.

Verdict

This is one of the best movies I have seen recently. It's complex, yet understandable, dark, but not depressing. Not the kind of movie you'd watch over and over, but one worth pulling out maybe once or twice a year.
